There are two types of ethanol pumps: the E85 pump, which distributes a mix that is exclusively 85 percent ethanol and 15 percent unleaded gasoline, and the ethanol blender pump, which can distribute E10, E20, E30, E40 or E85 blends.

An ethanol blender pump gives FFV owners the opportunity to fill up with various ethanol blends based on pricing and their vehicle’s performance. Because this pump includes E10 as a standard choice for consumers, you are also providing a fuel that virtually every driver can use. Additionally, when you have an ethanol blender pump at your station, you are showing your customers that you have their best interests in mind. And from a cost perspective, the latest ethanol blender pump technology allows the cost of the dispenser to be spread across all blends and customers.
